Welcome to GBTA Convention 2017! GBTA is excited you will be joining us in Denver for this year’s event, and want to ensure that you get the most out of your Convention experience. Last year nearly 100 reporters from all over the globe attended and covered GBTA Convention, including Reuters, Fortune Magazine, USA Today and more. Every major industry publication attended as well making this the perfect event to plan your breaking news announcements around.

Media Day

Sunday, July 16
GBTA Broadcast Studio

Back for its third year, GBTA Media Day will move to the GBTA Broadcast Studio this year. This is an opportunity to unveil your breaking news, innovations or announcements. The briefings will begin at 9 a.m., with each company given time to present their news both to reporters in attendance and over a livestream as well. Additionally, edited videos of the announcement will be available the following day on GBTA’s YouTube channel and will be shared via GBTA’s social channels and blog.

Media Day Timeline:

Early June: Applications for Media Day along with instructions for submission and how applicants are accepted will be available
June 26: All applications for Media Day must be submitted on Monday, June 26. Early or late applications will not be accepted. More information coming soon.
July 6: Full schedule of participating companies will be publicly announced and posted
July 16: Media Day

*GBTA Media Day is free of charge as a benefit for exhibiting companies.

Online Press Room

Exhibitors can post news and updates to the GBTA Convention Online Press Room leading up to and throughout GBTA Convention. Your news will be distributed via the Hsyndicate network, included in GBTA’s daily email and sent via multiple mediums to Convention attendees, GBTA members and media. Press List

As an exhibitor benefit, you can receive complimentary updates of the registered press list beginning six weeks prior to GBTA Convention 2017. Contact Colleen to be added to this distribution list.

Media Interview Room

You can receive access to a private media interview room on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Access the GBTA press office to leave press materials or meet with reporters.
