Submit your Videos

We want to hear from you! Want your few seconds of fame on the big and small screens at GBTA Convention? Just submit a short video of yourself answering one or more of the following questions by October 15th:

  1. What do you get out of GBTA membership?
  2. Why do you go to convention and what do you get out of attending?
  3. Why is sustainability important to the business travel industry?
  4. What is the future of work?
  5. What impact will technology have on the travel experience?
  6. What is the value of diversity, equity and inclusion?
  7. What does wellness and balance mean for taking care of the future traveler?

Video responses to the questions above will be incorporated into the videos shown at Convention and distributed via our social media channels.

Don’t miss your chance to appear on the big screen during Convention!

Best Practices for Shooting Cell Phone Video:

  • Try to repeat the question in your response, e.g. “I attend convention because…”
  • Always shoot horizontally, not vertically
  •  If you can’t use a tripod, prop the phone up on something eye level, or in a pinch, have someone hold the phone as steady as they can.
  • Make sure you are close enough for your face to almost fill the frame, but not so close that any part of your head is cut off (usually about arm’s length).
  • Do not use digital zoom.
  • Have a light source behind the camera slightly off to one side (to avoid creating a shadow on your face with the phone).
  • Don’t shoot in front of a bright background like a window - the camera will adjust by underexposing your face.
  • Speak loudly enough for the phone to pick up your voice clearly.
  • Don’t worry about the beginning, the end or any mistakes you make - they will be edited out.
  • Share the video by uploading to Dropbox via the following link:
