GBTA is committed to creating an accessible and inclusive event that enables all individuals to engage fully. Our targeted initiatives are listed below.

Mobility Considerations
- The Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center Dallas (KBHCCD) is ADA compliant. It is our goal to implement new standards as they are introduced. In accordance with the ADA, the KBHCCD is responsible for and provides permanent premises access accommodations such as, but not limited to: wheelchair lifts, elevator standards, door width standards and restroom accessibility.

- Mobility equipment such as Power Scooters, and Manual or Powered Wheelchairs can be rented from AABCO Ready Rentals. Please see more information in the link here.

- GBTA Convention signage will make an effort to utilize as much large print text signage as possible.
Hotel Accommodations
- Attendees can make hotel accommodation requests directly to the hotel. We have communicated possible accommodation needs and we will be happy to assist should you have any difficulty getting assistance.
Service Animals
- Pets are not allowed at the KBHCCD; however, service animals are welcome. The KBHCCD follows ADA guidelines regarding service animals. All ADA service animal guidelines may be found
- Remember that service animals are working and are not pets. Do not touch, pet, or feed treats to a service animal without the owner’s permission.

- GBTA provides the following food and beverage meals and refreshments to all attendees as part of the Convention program.
- Sunday, August 13
- Welcome Reception - 5:15 PM - 7:30 PM - Light hors d'oeuvres, Beer and wine, Nonalcoholic drinks.
- Monday, August 14
- Coffee Break - 9:15 AM - 9:45 AM - Coffee, Hot teas, Water.
- Main Stage Lunch - 12:00 PM - 1:15 PM - Plated Lunch, menu and ingredients below.
- Tuesday, August 15
- Coffee Break - 9:15 AM - 9:45 AM - Coffee, Hot teas, Water.
- Main Stage Lunch - 12:00 PM - 1:15 PM - Plated Lunch, menu and ingredients below.
- Sunday, August 13
- Menus with ingredients will be available closer to the event.
- If you have a specific Dietary Restriction or Allergy, please make sure to complete the question in the registration form so we may provide those special meals where applicable.
- GBTA strives to make most of our Convention food and beverage offerings accessible to everyone. All food items will be labeled onsite and banquet staff will be knowledgeable about menu ingredients and allergens.
- When you arrive onsite and need a special meal (kosher, halal, vegan, etc.) please notify one of the banquet staff members and they will assist you.
Other Sensory Considerations
- Please avoid the use of fragrance, parfum, perfume and/or cologne for those who are sensitive to chemicals.
Mothers Lounge
- KBHCCD has partnered with Mamavato provide two self-contained pods that give nursing mothers a private place to nurse and/or pump. They are conveniently located on Level 2, one by the Arena and another by the Food Court.
